I was a very fit person, riding, swimming, gardening and working full time with young people. However, while cycling to work in 2005 I was struck by a foreign driver and got a resultant broken neck. After four months in hospital, and daily physiotherapy, I am trying to make a comeback as much as physically possible, and trying to do something useful in life for myself and others.I will never be content to stay in bed and put up with my lot. There are a lot of issues out there for spinal patients ranging from unconfortable wheelchairs to mental stimulus and I want to hear what others have to say about issues affecting the disabled.
